I made this fun boy-themed card using our August Stamp of the Month, It's Your Day, for the sentiment. With many 'boy' birthdays coming up in August this card was a must!

Detailed view. I really love how the Stardust paper and embossed swirls are reminiscent of artwork from one of my favorite children's books, Where The Wild Things Are.

2 OLD Craft Space

I've just recently decided to move my craft space to our giant spare bedroom. Why did I not do this three years ago, when we bought our house in Kelowna, you might ask? GOOD Question!









I think that I really enjoyed (and still do) having everything at my fingertips!







All of the shelving was up when we moved in... all I had to do was stuff it full of goodies! There's even more storage behind where I am standing to take these photos...







I used an old ikea outdoor plant shelf as my magnet board - it's covered in ideas now!








If you haven't guest already this little hidey hole is under the stairs! Advantages: computer access, lots of storage and quiet. Disadvantages: HUGE man eating spiders!, no room to spread out, no good for workshops, no window, no TV. (I like to craft with distractions) LOL

I made this fun pop-up card using a tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers. They have tons of amazing, FREE, tutorials!

With our July Stamp of the Month, You've Got Flair, I created my own background and texture paper. I stamped my image in black, then 'painted' inside using my Waterbrush and Hollyhock Ink.

I love making these quick, simple flowers! Punch out three circles, crumple them all up then attach with a brad.

This view is of the card when it is closed - the 'tag' is hidden inside.

By using ribbon and flowers even the outside of this card is pretty!
