3 Driftwood Garden Signs

When Shelley {from Sow & Dipity} shared her Reclaimed Garden Signs I knew that I just had to make some!  With both my mom and grandma being avid gardeners these little signs will make the perfect gift for both of them.

 The boys and I collected a bunch of driftwood from the beach back in June for this Teacher Gift.

 I primed each piece {using acrylic patio paint}.

And painted them all sorts of bright colours.  Finally, using some of Shelley's clever quotes, I painted garden sayings on each one.

They brighten up the garden a bit and add a sense of fun and whimsy!

I can't wait to add them to my mom and grandmas presents, packages and parcels.    Have you been doing any gardening?
