I thought that I would try something fun for breakfast with the kids during Spring Break. With just a few ingredients we made these fast, fun and yummy Bacon & Egg Crescent Waffles.
I have been seeing all sorts of fun things cooked on a waffle iron recently. Cookies, cinnamon buns… you name it! So on my last shopping trip I picked up a package of Pilsbury Crescent Rolls, eggs and bacon. I cooked the bacon first then fired up the waffle iron.
I sprayed the iron with non-stick spray before layering crescent dough with an egg, bacon and folding the dough over before closing in the waffle iron.
Served with milk and covered in syrup this was surprisingly delicious! Even the boys asked for seconds! Whaaat?! Next time? Adding cheese too! #nomnom
