Bread Maker Bread and Spinach Dip

I’ve actually never made spinach dip before! After scribbling down Carla’s recipe, known for its strong – yet fabulous – garlic taste, I tweaked it a bit (sorry Carla LOL) and came up with this:

With twin two year old boys, it is actually easier to bake bread at home than run out to the grocery store for a round of sour dough! I put the ingredients for a loaf of Classic White in my bread maker and let it do its thing. 😛

I mixed together:
1 pkg frozen spinach (I squished the extra liquid out)
2c sour cream
1c mayonaisse
2 cloves of garlic (add extra cloves for a more Carla-like taste)
2 green onions (chopped)
1 pkg Knorrs vegetable soup mix

I cut my bread in half, hollowed out the centre, filled it with spinach dip and cubed the remaining loaf.

I had to add this shot – if you look closely you can see where one of my boys took a bite out of the bread when my back was turned! I heard him say “yum”. LOL
